The keel of the new Wasaline vessel, Aurora Botnia, has been laid at the Rauma shipyard. The newly built vessel will accommodate 800 passengers and is scheduled to begin operation in the summer of 2021.
The Aurora Botnia is designed to be the world’s most environmentally friendly passenger ferry and it will operate between Umeå in Sweden and Vaasa in Finland. Kudos is responsible for interior design of all the public areas including the restaurants and bars, guest cabins and corridors and retail, leisure and reception areas.
